Christina and Nick...they are the kind of people you immediately want to get to know. They are the couple that everyone gravitates to because they are full of laughter and love. It's been such a pleasure getting to know these two over the last year, and our relationship will continue with another shoot next spring and I already can't wait!

Their wedding was absolutely perfect: the weather, the location, the all flowed so naturally.

Christina and Nick, it has been an incredible experience becoming friends, photographing your engagement shoot and wedding, and I look forward to what the future holds! You two are the best!

The fabulous vendors who made this day great:

When I arrived at Meghan's hotel room, it was like greeting an old friend. We got to know these two at their engagement shoot almost a full year ago. And the relationship we've developed through emails had me so excited for their wedding day that I could hardly contain myself. I knew that it was going to be fantastic and beautiful, and I wasn't let down. This wedding was epic, in every way.

Congrats, you two. You are very special to us and it was such an honor!

SELA + JAKE : Flanagan Farm | Maine Wedding Photographer

We first met Sela and Jake on a chilly day last winter. After a hot cup of coffee, we headed out to  snap some photos of them around the city. When we met up with them on their wedding day, it felt like seeing old friends.

These two are so incredibly sweet, and they know how to dance! It was a beautiful day from beginning to end, and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Here's to many years of love and happiness!

We drove through the most beautiful mountains and quaint little towns and arrived on the doorstep of Guy's parents' house in New Hampshire. The most beautiful and lovely setting, full of sweet people, we capture the love between Jessie and Guy. A love that will last lifetimes.

Thanks, you two, for letting us be a part of your special day.

Woodland Fairytale Styled Shoot

I had the pleasure of working with a fantastic team of vendors to make this shoot a success! In the initial brainstorming sessions with Emily of Emily Elizabeth Events and Amy of Pretty Flowers Maine, we knew we wanted something completely different. Not only did we want to break new grounds and show something that's never been done before, we also wanted to use the beautiful Maine winter landscapes as our inspiration and setting!

Model scouting to find the perfect fit was a breeze. I have shot Grace before and she's a beauty in front of the camera. Pete is a local oyster farmer and was comfortable in his role, especially when shucking oysters for the crew to feast on. They met for the first time a couple of hours before we starting shooting, but did well representing their roles as husband and wife. (Which can be totally awkward!) Thank you guys!

The shoot was flawless. This team of vendors is amazing and so very professional. I would hire them in a heartbeat for my own wedding (ok, well...I did!) and I just enjoy working with them so much.

This shoot is featured in the upcoming issue of Real Maine Weddings, so be sure to pick up a copy!

Christina + Nick :: Styled Engagement Shoot with Emily Elizabeth Events

I am so very pleased and excited to announce a new opportunity I am offering for couples ( don't have to be engaged or married...just happily together and looking for a way to document it!) to have a fun couple of hours, doing what you love, where you love, and be captured all the while.

I started thinking that sometimes engagement shoots are so predictable, and somewhat generic. The same spots (I am totally guilty of this!) and the same look. I wanted to break free of that and showcase the individual and unique love every couple has that I work with. So I came up with a plan. I have had the pleasure of working with Emily from Emily Elizabeth Events on numerous shoots and I am a big fan of her talent and what she does. I approached her about offering a collaboration for clients: a styled lifestyle shoot. That basically means that we come up with a concept based on the couple's interests, their style, their favorite places, etc. It is uniquely and totally them.

We work as a team closely with the couple to develop the final concept. Emily makes sure it all looks fabulous, working with the couple on everything from what food they might eat, to what they will wear, to making sure collars are straight and makeup isn't smudged during the shoot. I capture it all in an authentic way, because really...the whole shoot is about WHO the couple is. What they love and where they love to be! Emily makes the couple feel completely confident in how they are in front of the camera, and it allows them to be completely themselves!

These lifestyle shoots could mean anything from canoeing in a lake to attending a baseball game, or even something as simple as going out to your favorite restaurant. Whatever you love to do, that's what we're interested in. No more picture perfect backdrops that is someplace you have never even seen...we want to celebrate what makes your relationship unique and special and truly YOU!

The above shoot was our first and couldn't have been more fun. Food, champagne, laughter, sun, the sound of the waves lapping the shore, a canoe ride, and a sunset...all just so perfectly them and it was so causal and comfortable!

If you're interested in more, email us ( to find out more! Be sure to visit Emily's site to see her wonderful work too!

Hopefully we'll get to work with you in the near future! xo

Sarah and Travis :: Whitefield, Maine Wedding

Sarah and Travis contacted me this past winter about photographing their wedding. They heard about me from their friend who had me photograph their wedding a few years ago. They told me the details of their day, and who they were as individuals and what brought them together as a couple. Sometimes it just clicks, you know? I knew I wanted to work with them. I knew that capturing their commitment of love to one another would be an experience like no other.

And I was right. The day was magical. Full of loving people, a unique and powerful love, and one of the sweetest places to photograph.

Congrats you two...may your love continue for many lifetimes. So glad you found each other. xo

Marjorie and Matt, Portland Maine

Oh, these two. So so sweet and so much fun to work with. They had a celebration of their marriage for all of their friends and family, and a somewhat renewal of their 6 month old vows. They were so completely relaxed and up for anything, which is just a dream to work with. We had fun walking around Portland before the event at Rira's. Luckily, the morning of clouds and rain cleared just in time for some beautiful skies! Thank you two for such a wonderful day and for being so lovely. Enjoy!

A Big Thank You

It was a good year. A Very good year. We had an amazing, fantastic season in 2013 and met so many wonderful couples who will remain in our hearts forever. We saw new places, captured moments that had us in tears, witnessed some of the best dance moves ever, felt like part of your families, made images that were unique, strived to artistically represent your love and your day, and adored every single minute of it.

We are thankful for you loyalty and your friendships and look forward to watching your relationships grow and evolve.

We can't wait for another season to come!

Thank you for choosing a love supreme!

Winners of the 2014 Wedding Giveaway!

weddingwinnerssmall We have read through all of the many fabulous entries we've received for the 2014 wedding giveaway and we are happy to announce the winners! Hannah and Paul wrote a love story that literally had us in tears:

"Being with Paul is like having a warm blanket around my shoulders. Being with Paul is like consuming the most decadent dessert on the menu and savouring every bite. Before Paul, I spent so much time alone and with friends, and now I just want to spend every free minute with him. He is my favorite person and my best friend. Our idea of the perfect day is to just be together and to spend as much time in bed as possible. When we are together, the only sound is laughter. I love how similar we are in what makes us laugh and what makes us tick. I love that we eat the same way and enjoy the same things. Our differences attract us to each other even more, like a really good mystery novel pulls a person in. When we are not together, I smell the shirt he wore the day before and try to make time go by faster until I get to be with him again. It sounds like I am obsessed. I sort of am….He serves me like I am his princess, and tells me that I am beautiful nonstop. He is very good to me, and I am very good to him. So, when thinking about marriage, I can only say that I cannot imagine my life without him. I can hardly imagine that I had a life without him before. I think our souls have waited all of this time to collide, and now, I will never let him go. I don't think that we need marriage, but I think it is a beautiful way to celebrate our love with everyone around us, and a way to tell the world what our hearts have said since we found each other. So, wedding or not, I have his back. Wedding or not, I have already committed to him. He already tells everyone that I am his wife, because, I am. Lets make it official!

So, we have talked about our wedding and decided that we would like it to happen June 2014. It will be in a grassy field. The bread and puppet band will play for us, everyone will wear what makes them feel good, there will be picnic blankets, wine, simple food and lots of dancing and laughing in the sun. I am not going to spend too much time planning this thing. I just want it to be a day for us to celebrate comfortably. Truthfully, I don't even want formal invitations. I want to spread the word and allow anyone to come. The right people, who support us and love us will be there! "

So Hannah and Paul…get ready! We are coming to Vermont to photograph your absolutely amazing day and we can't wait!

Thank you to all who entered and we wish you a very fabulous, amazing wedding!
