We recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple in Santa Barbara. Maritza and Sean contacted us over the winter to see if we’d be interested and we jumped at the chance. The recently renovated and restored El Encanto hotel was their location and we were just completely blown away by its beauty and amazing scenery. Maritza and Sean were surrounded by their incredibly loving family and friends to celebrate their marriage. It was an amazing, wonderful day full of love and support. And the night was full of fabulous food and dancing! We felt so honored to capture it all!

we had the absolute pleasure to fly to santa barbara for another california wedding! we’re still processing the images from that, but here are some from our stay. it was so very beautiful!!

what do we do during the slow winter months? we get out to new and fun places with our cameras! here’s some for portsmouth, nh…

There is so much I could say about this sweet couple. A Thursday evening in October, just the two of them, Ashley’s mother, the officiant, and the two of us photographing this magical moment on top of a rock overlooking the ocean. Never having been to Maine, nor Reid State Park for that matter, they planned the whole affair from their home in Virginia. A quiet, simple wedding that was so full of love and laughter and fun that I wondered why they all weren’t exactly like this. It was a fantastic evening, complete with dipping their toes in the Maine ocean for the first time, and a lobster picnic overlooking the bay.

Thanks Ashley and Tyler for the absolutely wonderful evening. Congrats! And enjoy your photos…

These guys are so much fun! I was so honored to not only shoot their engagement shoot, but their wedding as well! The ceremony was held at the Ellis Park Gazebo, and we headed through the village for some shots, then went to Foster’s for a lobster bake.

It was a sweet day full of laughter and love. Thanks, you two…xo
